Do you work on the computer for extended periods of time? Many people who work with computers suffer from headaches and eyestrain associated with computer vision syndrome. These glasses have a special tint that helps to reduce glare and the intensity of the light produced by the average computer monitor, and a special UV coating that blocks UV rays produced by monitors and flourescent lighting. The glasses also have a slight correction (+0.75), similar to reading glasses, that helps the eyes to easily focus on the computer screen without undue strain. However, they are designed for people who do not need vision correction or who wear contact lenses to correct their vision.
